授課內容 一、 教學目標：
「離散」理論是當今學術界方興未艾的後殖民論述取向；移民研究亦是區域研究的重點關懷。客家族群以其亦「客」亦「家」的特殊屬性，經由各種不同動機或方式的移民過程，在移居當地所形成的離散文化，是遭逢與豐富離散理論的最佳光譜之一。本課程的設計，即是希望透過對已有的相關理論、配以研究實例之研讀與討論，養成學生對理論的掌握能力，以為書寫一篇具有理論架構之學術論文的基礎。

本課程是以引導／思考／批判／理解為主要特色。課程的進行，以講授、口頭報告與共同討論為主，並且特別強調課程進行中的提問和整體互動式的激盪討論。除了選用的書籍篇章為必讀之教材外，更希望學生能夠自行搜尋補充相關的閱讀資料。上課參與、每週口頭報告、研究報告計畫書和期末報告為評分方式。
