The Epiphany 顯現日
O God, by the leading of a star you manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know you now by faith, to your presence, where we may see your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
上帝阿，祢曾藉著景星的引導，把祢的獨生聖子顯現給世上萬民：求祢引導我們這些現在靠著信心認識祢的人，到祢面前，能夠面對面看見祢的榮耀；這都是靠著我們的主耶穌基督，聖子和聖父、聖靈，一同永生，一同掌權，惟一上帝，永世無盡。阿們。
以賽亞書
60:1 耶路撒冷啊，起來吧，像太陽發光；上主的榮光照耀著你。
60:2 看哪，黑暗籠罩大地；陰暗遮蔽萬民。但是上主的光要照亮你；他的榮光要照耀在你身上。
60:3 萬國要接近你的光；君王要被你的曙光所吸引。
60:4 舉目觀看你周圍發生的事：你的同胞集合起來，要回來找你。你的兒子要從老遠的地方回來；你的女兒要像嬰兒被背著回來。

馬太福音
2:1 希律作王的時候，耶穌誕生在猶太的伯利恆。有幾個星象家從東方來到耶路撒冷；
2:2 他們問：「那出生要作猶太人的王的在哪裏？我們在東方看見了他的星，特地來朝拜他。」
2:3 希律王聽了這話，著急不安；整個耶路撒冷的人也同樣不安。
2:4 希律就召集了所有的祭司長和民間的經學教師，問他們：「基督該誕生在甚麼地方？」
2:5 他們回答：「在猶太的伯利恆，因為先知曾這樣寫著：
2:6 猶大地區的伯利恆啊，你在猶大諸城邑中並不是最小的；因為有一位領袖要從你那裏出來，他要牧養我的子民以色列。」
2:7 於是，希律暗地裏召見從東方來的星象家，向他們查問那顆星出現的準確日子，
2:8 然後吩咐他們前往伯利恆，說：「你們去，仔細尋找那小孩子，找著了就來向我報告，我也好去拜他。」
2:9 聽了這話，他們就走了。這時候，他們在東方看見的那顆星又出現，並且在前頭引導他們，一直來到小孩子出生地方的上面才停住。
2:10 他們看見那顆星，真是歡欣快樂。
2:11 他們進了屋子，看見小孩子和他的母親馬利亞，就俯伏朝拜這孩子，然後打開寶盒，拿出黃金、乳香、沒藥等禮物獻給他。
2:12 在夢中，上帝指示他們不要回去見希律，於是他們從另一條路回自己的家鄉去。

求主幫助我們 繼續看見與經歷上主的榮耀與工作

the Feast of the Holy Innocents
今天是諸聖嬰孩日 (嬰孩被殺日)
We remember today, O God, the slaughter of the holy innocents of Bethlehem by King Herod. Receive, we pray, into the arms of your mercy all innocent victims; and by your great might frustrate the designs of evil tyrants and establish your rule of justice, love, and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
上帝阿，今天我們記念那些在伯利恆無辜被希律王所殺害的嬰孩。求主將一切無辜的受害者，都接納進祢憐憫的膀臂中；用祢的大權能，摧毀邪惡暴君的陰謀，建立祢公義、仁愛與和平的統治；這都是靠著我們的主耶穌基督，聖子和聖父、聖靈，一同永生、一同掌權，惟一上帝，永世無盡。阿們。
馬太福音 2
13 他們走了以後，主的天使在約瑟的夢中顯現，說：「起來！帶著小孩子和他的母親逃往埃及，住在那裏，直到我吩咐你離開；因為希律要搜索這孩子，要殺害他。」
14 於是，約瑟動身，連夜帶著孩子和他的母親逃往埃及，
15 住在那裏，直到希律死了。這事是要應驗主藉著先知說的話：「我從埃及把我的兒子召出來。」
16 希律發現自己受了星象家的愚弄，非常惱怒，就按照他向星象家打聽到那顆星出現的時期，派人把伯利恆和附近地區兩歲以內的男孩子都殺掉。

18 在拉瑪聽見了號咷大哭的聲音。拉結為著孩子們哀哭，不肯接受安慰，因為他們都死了。
啟示錄 21
1 接著，我看見一個新天新地。那先前的天和地不見了，海也消失了。
2 我又看見聖城，就是新耶路撒冷，由上帝那裏，從天上降下來，像打扮好了的新娘來迎接她的丈夫。
3 我聽見有大聲音從寶座上發出，說：「上帝的家在人間了！他要和人住在一起，而他們要作他的子民。上帝要親自與他們同在，要作他們的上帝。
4 他要擦乾他們每一滴眼淚；不再有死亡，也沒有悲傷、哭泣，或痛苦。以往的事都已經過去了。」
5 這時候，坐在寶座上的那位說：「看哪，我更新一切！」他又說：「要寫下來，因為這些話是真實可靠的。」
6 他又對我說：「成了！我是阿爾法和亞米茄，是開始和終結。我要把生命的泉水白白地賜給口渴的人喝。
7 得勝的人可以領受這些，就是：我要作他的上帝；他要作我的兒子。
為那些因著不公義與世上的邪惡而喪生的人祈禱
成為耶穌誕生的殉道者 基督成為他們的安慰
我們的主耶穌基督為了這世上的不公義和邪惡而死

約翰一書 1

the Feast of Saint Stephen 聖司提反日
We give you thanks, O Lord of glory, for the example of the first martyr Stephen, who looked up to heaven and prayed for his persecutors to your Son Jesus Christ, who stands at your right hand; where he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
榮耀的主！為著第一位殉道者司提反所立下的榜樣，我們向你獻上感謝，他舉目望天，為那些殺害他的人，向站在祢右邊的耶穌基督祈禱；聖子和聖父、聖靈，一同永生，一同掌權，惟一上帝，永世無盡。阿門。
使徒行傳
6:8 司提反充滿著上帝的恩賜和能力，在民間行了大奇事和神蹟。
6:9 但是有些人反對他；〈這些人是所謂『自由人』會堂的會員，包括從古利奈和亞歷山大來的猶太人。他們和其他從基利家和亞細亞來的猶太人跟司提反辯論。〉
6:10聖靈賜下智慧給司提反，所以他們無法辯駁他所說的話。
6:11於是他們收買了一些人出來誣告他說：「我們聽見這人說了毀謗摩西和褻瀆上帝的話！」
6:12他們用這種方法煽動群眾、長老，和經學教師。他們來找司提反，抓住他，把他帶到議會去。
6:13他們所收買的假證人出來說：「這個人常常說話反對我們的聖殿和摩西的法律。
6:14我們聽見他說這個拿撒勒人耶穌要拆毀聖殿，要改變摩西所傳給我們的一切傳統！」
6:15所有在議會裏面坐著的人都注目看著司提反，看見他的面貌好像是天使的面貌。
7:1 大祭司問司提反：「果真有這樣的事嗎？」
7:2 司提反回答：「諸位父老弟兄們，請聽！
7:51「你們這些頑固的人哪，你們心胸閉塞，充耳不聞上帝的信息！你們和你們的祖先一樣，總是跟聖靈作對！
7:52哪一個先知沒有受過你們祖先的迫害呢？先知們宣告那公義的僕人要來臨，你們的祖先卻把他們殺了；現在你們竟又出賣那僕人，殺害了他。
7:53你們是接受了上帝法律的人；這法律是由天使傳下的，而你們卻不遵守法律！」
7:54議會的議員聽了司提反這一些話，非常惱怒，向他咬牙切齒。
7:55司提反被聖靈充滿，舉目望天，看見上帝的榮耀，又看見耶穌站在上帝的右邊，
7:56就說：「我看見天門開了，人子站在上帝的右邊！」
7:57他們就大聲喊叫，用手掩耳，又一擁上前，抓住司提反，
7:58把他推出城外，用石頭打他。那些證人把自己的外衣交給一個名叫掃羅的青年看管。
7:59司提反在石頭紛紛襲擊下，向主呼求說：「主耶穌啊，求你接納我的靈魂！」
7:60他又跪下來，大聲喊說：「主啊，不要把這罪歸給他們！」他說完這話就死了。

 
 
今天是聖多馬日(the Feast of Saint Thomas)
Everliving God, who strengthened your apostle Thomas with firm and certain faith in your Son's resurrection: Grant us so perfectly and without doubt to believe in Jesus Christ, our Lord and our God, that our faith may never be found wanting in your sight; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
永生的上帝，祢曾以確實的憑據來堅定使徒多馬對聖子復活的信心：求主使我們深信耶穌基督是我們的主、我們的上帝，又使我們在你面前有足夠的信心；聖子和聖父、聖靈，一同永生、一同掌權，唯一上帝，永世無盡。阿們。
約翰福音20章
26b 門關著，可是耶穌忽然顯現，站在他們當中，說：「願你們平安！」
27 然後對多馬說：「把你的指頭放在這裏，看看我的手吧；再伸出你的手，摸摸我的肋旁吧。不要疑惑，只要信！」
28 多馬說：「我的主，我的上帝！」
29 耶穌說：「你因為看見了我才信嗎？那些沒有看見而信的是多麼有福啊！」
希伯來書
11:1 那麼，信心是甚麼呢？信心是對所盼望的事有把握，對不能看見的事能肯定。

今天早上 莫名地被催逼醒來

我躺在床上 打開聖經 閱讀今天的經課
很特別 今天是Bishop of Remigius的聖日...
經課是約一4:1-6 其中我特別覺得有意思 停留在幾個段落
but every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now is already in the world.
We are from God; the person who knows God listens to us, but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.(1 John 4:3, 6 NET)
我突然在思考....
什麼是真理的靈? 什麼是欺哄的靈?
「世界」在我們的信仰 究竟是什麼地位和價值?
但 我想 第3節提醒了真理的靈就是使我們認信耶穌是基督 是上帝的靈
或許世界中 已經有很多敵基督 不願我們相信 耶穌是基督的聲音
但 也並非所有世界的聲音都是敵基督的聲音!!
The person who does not love does not know God, because God is love. By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God has sent his one and only Son into the world so that we may live through him. (1 John 4:8, 9 NET)
接著 書信的作者向我們表明....
沒有愛的人 不是愛上帝的人 因為上帝就是愛
我不知道上帝為什麼在這天催逼我起床 讀了這段經課
這個信息 也不知道是為了什麼!!
或許 這將是我這輩子 不斷需要為自己 掙扎的神學問題吧!

對於「屬靈父親」和「教父母(代父母)」兩個詞彙的誤解
在正教會，屬靈父親和教父母(代父母)的區別是非常明確的。但令人難過的是，某些正教徒，非華人，為了控制和利用人們，將這兩個詞混用，他們目的在於使教會變為國族主義，或占人們的便宜。
為了華人朋友，我們來釐清「屬靈父親」和「教父母(代父母)」的差別。
屬靈父親是一位引導基督徒屬靈生命的人，這是非常神聖的使命。
並非任何人都可以成為屬靈父親。屬靈父親是神聖的職責，是由正教會賦予、指派給非常屬靈的人來擔任，好讓他可以聆聽、瞭解並引導基督徒活出教會的教導。
屬靈父親，是教會的制度(institution)，多數是司祭，好讓他也能賜允基督徒教會的寬恕。他是男修院院長或女修院院長(但因為女修院院長不是司祭，因此她會建議屬靈子女請司祭行懺悔聖事)。
屬靈子女必須向他的屬靈父親(或指導者)敞開生命一切所有，不只是罪，也包括生活態度，所有事情，好讓屬靈指導者給予建議。就像現代人向醫生或心理學家敞開心靈和秘密，也必須同樣地對屬靈父親這麼做。
如果有人想有一個屬靈父親，他必須跟從屬靈父親的建議，並且必須信任屬靈父親。這是導向謙卑之路，並且開始敞開自己，再也不自我導向(自我中心)。
請司祭行懺悔聖事，和擁有一個屬靈父親是不同的。屬靈指引是聖靈的恩賜，是在教會內，也並非任何人都可成為屬靈父親，或屬靈子女。許多人因為有行懺悔聖事，就認為自己有屬靈父親，但並非如此，因為他們並不想聽取建議和指引。
當然，如果有人想成為修士，他首先必須找到一位屬靈父親並順服他。屬靈父親對屬靈子女負有極為重大的責任。我用「子女」一詞，而非士兵或僕人。因為屬靈父親才是真正的僕人，他「服事」並指引他人－雖然在內心他是屬靈父親。
屬靈父親尊重屬靈子女的人格，即使子女並不成熟，並不總是能瞭解這一點。屬靈父親試著找到方法，來幫助子女培養和增進馬太福音25：15所說的恩賜(才幹)，這恩賜是神賜予這子女的。而最終子女會長大成人，如同以弗所書4：13所寫。
教父母(代父母)是教會的成員，他們實際上協助某人透過聖洗聖事進入教會，或透過婚姻聖事活出基督徒的生命。
教父母最好是夫妻，但如果情況不允許，單單一位男士或女士也是足夠的。教父母：
—幫助人進入基督正教會。
—正式地引介人們到教會(引介給司祭)，並見證此人確實想領受聖洗或婚姻聖事。
—請求教會允許他們教導慕道者。地方教會的司祭指派CATHEHIST(較低階的司祭職份)來正確地教導
慕道者，最終由司祭來檢核將要領受聖洗者的信仰是否正確。
教父母在聖洗和婚姻聖事中代表基督徒社群。這是為何他們協助司祭並模仿司祭某些行動，例如為將領洗者塗抹聖油，配戴十架項鍊，交換王冠。但教父母是在靜默中做這些動作，而且是由司祭將聖油、十架項鍊、王冠等物品交給他們。
教父母成為教子的家人(因此教父母不能與教子結婚，教父母的親生子女也不能和教子結婚)。教父母在經濟上幫助教子，或以任何方式協助他們面對生活中的難題。
混淆教父母的職份和屬靈父親的職份是非常危險的。教父母不能成為教子的屬靈父親(除非他是司祭)，不能向他人說明如何祈禱或什麼時候、多麼頻繁地領受聖體聖血…等等。
如果教父母這麼做，他是在創造假教會，假靈性。如果他不是引領他的教子到教會，他就是在分裂教會。我已經看見這種情況，人們因為國族主義，利用了不知情的、懷有良善態度的華人，並試圖在靈性上引導這些華人。對華人來說，要辨別揭露這樣的事是容易的，如果人們是在背地裡秘密地指導靈性生活，沒有經過地方教會司祭的允許。這些人就是耶穌在馬太福音書23：15所說的「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們走遍洋海陸地，勾引一個人入教，既入了教，卻使他作地獄之子，比你們還加倍」。
In the orthodox church, it is very clear the difference between the spiritual father and the god-parents. but sadly , some orthodox , (not from Chinese origin), they use the above words with a confusing way , in order to CONTROL people and to USE them , for their own purposes, which can be, to make the church nationalistic or to take advantage of them.
So we make clear for our Chinese people the words 「spiritual father」 and 「god father mother」 or 「god parents」
-「spiritual father」 is the person who has the very holy mission to provide guidance to a christian to the spiritual life.
it cannot be everybody. it is a HOLY JOB THAT THE CHURCH GIVES, appoints , to a very spiritual person so that he can listen, understand and guide the christian to live as the church teaches.
the spiritual father , is an institution of the church, and mostly a priest so that he can also grand the forgiveness of the church to the christian. He is the abbot or the abbess of a monastery (but the abbess , because she is not priest, she will advice her spiritual child to confess to a priest)
The spiritual child must open ALL his/her life to the spiritual father (or director) . not only the sins , but the attitudes for the life , everything , so that the spiritual director will give him/her a good advice. as today the people open their hearts and secrets to the doctor or the psychologist , by the same way must do to the spiritual father.
if somebody wants to have a spiritual father , he must follow his advice, and he must trust him. this is the way to be humble and to start opening himself , not be self oriented any more.
it is different to confess, and different to have a spiritual father.
the spiritual guidance is a gift of the holy spirit , INSIDE THE CHURCH, and it is not for anybody to become spiritual father , or spiritual child. many people because they confess they think that they have spiritual father , but not really. because they do not want to take advice and guidance.
of course, if somebody wants to become a monk, he must first find a spiritual father and obey to him.
The spiritual father has very great responsibility for his child. i write 「child」 and not solder or servant. because the real servant -but inside his heart is the spiritual father, who 「serves」 and guides the other.
the spiritual father respects , -even the child is not mature always to understand this- the personality , of his spiritual child. he tries to find ways to help him how to cultivate and increase the TALENTS Matt. 25:15 that god gave to this child.
-and finally the child will grow up Eph. 4:13 and he can help others, as the church will appoint him.
-god parents are the members of the church who help practically somebody to ENTER to the church, by the baptism or to live the christian life by the Marriage.
it is better to be a couple , but if this is not easy, one man or woman is enough . the God parents:
-HELP the person to enter to the christian church
-Introduce him/her to the church officially (to the priest) and they give witness that he/she really wants to be baptized or married.
-ask of the church to TEACH them. the church , the local priest appoints the CATHEHIST , (which a lower degree of priesthood) to teach correctly, and finally the priest teaches and examines the correct faith of the person to be baptized .
-the godparents represent the christian community during the service of baptism and marriage. this is why they help the priest and imitate some movements of the priest, like to put oil on the person to be baptized, give him cross , exchange the crowns, BUT THEY DO IT SILENTLY and the priest gives them the things, (crowns oil, cross)
- the godparents become family with the god-children (so they cannot marry their god children, neither their kids can be married each other). they help them economically or by any other way to face the difficulties of life.
it is very dangerous to CONFUSE THE GOD-PARENTSHIP with the spiritual fatherhood.
the god parent CAN NOT BE SPIRITUAL FATHER (exceptt he is priest) CAN NOT SAY TO OTHER HOW TO PRAY OR WHEN AND HOW OFTEN TO RECEIVE THE HOLY COMMUNION etc….
if he does this, he creates a false church, a fake spirituality. if he does not leads his child to the church, he splits the church.
i have seen this, people who for nationalistic reasons take advantage of the good attitude of the Chinese (who, of course, do not know those things) and try to guide them spiritually. it is easy for Chinese to reveal them, to understand their game, if they see that they do that secretly of the local church and the appointed priest. for those is what Jesus said.
