Wabc(晚上6:30~)三小時：

本課程上半段從文化概念的批判反省開始，試圖問題化「文化」定義。將從三個面向切入：一是詮釋學派的看法，指出文化作為一種文本分析的可能性；二探討結構主義到後結構主義所代表的語言學轉向，提供了利器了解文化運作的(非)邏輯；三則透過對意識型態概念的釐清，發現文化內在的異質性與宰制關係。下半段則探索晚近各種文化批判理論發展，包括後現代、後殖民與全球化理論等。
要求
學生必須仔細研讀每週指定閱讀，並組成課前研討小組，各小組輪流帶領課堂討論。學生應該積極參與討論，與老師同學交換研讀心得，此部份將佔學期成績考評20%。期中及期末各交一份報告，期中報告在3000字以內，題目由學生自定，但必須和課堂討論之概念或議題有關，佔學期成績30%。期末報告必須為一較完整之研究報告，10000字為度，題目自定，但必須在繳交日期一個月前和授課老師討論，佔學期成績50%。
